"Oh hit it Alice!"

Golf plays a large role in the Pope Family. Jerry, late owner, would travel the United States with his wife, Connie, and many of his dear friends to compete in golf tournaments. In 1995, Jerry's 3rd Grandson, Kenten, was born. When he was old enough to hold a golf club, Jerry bought Kenten a plastic set of clubs and would teach him how to play the game. He continued to do the same with his younger grandsons as well.

When the Pope Boys were old enough, they would be entered into the Dinaland Junior Golf Tournament where they would follow in their grandfather's footsteps, playing and winning in tournaments.

Kenten, Karter, and Korbet loved playing golf with their grandpa Jerry, and continue to play today. Although Grandpa can not play with them any more, they can still hear him mumbling his infamous sayings as they hit a cruddy shot. They also make sure to stop at the Jerry Kent Pope Memorial just before the First Tee Box at their hometown golf course before teeing up for a round of golf.
